La educación no es una buena noticia

Posted by Juan Carlos Yáñez Velazco

Precisión a Carlos

It’s shameful that the OCDE describe the Mexico’s education thus. I don’t know if these figures are correct but I am still a student and I’ve noticed that some teachers wasted the time of the class. Before, I was glad when a teacher did not attend the class. I’m more mature now and I´m worried when a teacher does not attend the class.

    1. arthur edwards

      Luis,
This is wonderfully written…almost perfect! It shows how poor teachers do not necessarily produce poor students. You are an example of how a student can mature despite immature teachers!!!!!

    2. arthur edwards

      Luis,

Excellent work! You used “It’s” correctly! WOW!

  2. balvanero

    1. Juan Carlos Yáñez Velazco

Este dato no lo tenía actualizado. Doblemente gracias!

My opinion is always between bad and good but I think that the Sifra than just mentioned and hopefully disappears. Even I have the Esperansa that one day these all will be competitive and the Mexican people will be one of the most important. So as the saying goes! There must think big to grow! and not just consider whether or not also do so and stick to it.

      Salvador,

Te mejoras poco a poco ¡felicidades!

Since I was in primary school (without mention highschool and now, in the college) it was (and still being) common the non-attendance of some teachers. I’m honored because, despite this circumstance, I can write and read, and I still learning (even another language). But it’s a shame that so many childrens and young people don’t have this chance (or unwilling to improve the chance).

  6. alvaro arellano galvez 1"A"

My opinión that these young that no have the opportunity of study is because no have the sufficient resources and is them would have that support for such amount fence decreasing little to little. O generate empleos for such people.

  7. aldo david hernandez castañeda 1B

I agree with you Juan Carlos. The teachers are poorly prepared are a disadvantage for our country. That allows students to fall be hind in their education we have to spend the money on teachers who have good preparation and whether students would take advantage of investments.

  8. aldo david hernandez castañeda 1B

Juan Carlos you’re right literacy is ever increasing and starts to apply from 15 years onwards much lack of education is also because we do not take adventage of the time to study no mare ignore and do not focus the study mainly

It is a shame that education in Mexico is that bad. I can´t believe that those numbers are sadly true, there´s a lot of young people without education. What can the world think about Mexico seeing this numbers? Which educational place do we have comparing with other first-world countries? It is true that part of this problem is a government guilt, but there is a lot of people who has the opportunity to study and they don´t do it just because they are lazy, just because they don´t want to. We have to do our part and stop saying that it´s always because of our government leaders…

      GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A shame what happens in México whit education. That institutions as the OCDE shows these data and in Mexico leaders continue cheering a course progress in education.

  11. Armando Vazquez Zamora 1° B

My opinion is, while there students have place in school for learn. There are some teachers arriving evening or don’t class, students want learn. As Stated OCDE , while others countries spend $8,800 dollars by student, in Mexico barely the cipher of $2,700 dollars for student.

  12. 1A Omar Alejandro Rios Del Toro

I can not belive that there so lack of responsibility. The Mexican that don’t know read or write are many and this is very sad. I don’t understand for criticize in place of do something. This is what I think on its publication Dr.

  13. Pedro Madrigal Velasco

It’s truth that education this bad in Mexico. But is illiteracy when the people don’t know read and write. I wonder, if within their numbers are the people that are Indian that don’t know read and write Spanish but read and write in their own language. Addition or the teacher or the students this bad unless the fathers that don’t infused love the study.

  14. José Carlos Llerenas Montes 1-A

We cannot remain the champions in the waste of school time. In a previous post already mentioned the big number of illiterates in the country. Now we’re talking about we’re a one of countries that spends most on education. This means that money isn’t used in the right way.

    1. arthur edwards

      Jose,

Well written….try writing more and practice!

  15. Ismael Perez Avalos 1B

Bad news, well only bad because this problem it’s not new. We should not ignore those remarkable points. Every one talk’s about give more education to the children in Mexico, but what about the quality of it? The question is: What can we do? Well I don’t know the answer, but all of us have to give the best no matter what our daily activities are.

  16. J. Enrique Madrigal Diaz 1A

Sad to know these statistics, because in all my education, from primary school, has been this problem today . and know this publication as we continue to.
I think the problem is everyone, some more than other, but we take corresponds, and not blame others, and we ask. what am i doing to change this?

  17. Jose Antonio Aguiar Palacios 1A

You are right. It is not a very good education in MEXICO. But we know to read and write that would need to learn something. depend of one person for ¡nothing! just need to succeed. Well that is what I think..

  18. Eduardo Valentín Hernández Aguilar 1-B

That is surprising, but worrying, there are a lot of “Ninis” in the country. How we can progress with this kind troubles, education is the answer, how is possible that the majority of time is applied in other things,is a shame to be among the first places in illiteracy.

  19. diego alejandro 1b

One day i was glad when a teacher did not attend the class Suddenly another teacher came in and made a comment to all “The effort of their parents do for you go to school where it is”

  20. Jonathan Andres Llamas Cruz 1B

It’s a shame that for the OCDE, Mexico is so bad positioned. The waste of time by the teachers is fatal. Students because they don’t receive so much help in public education, they must strive to take it. Average of illiterate people should go down to put Mexico on a better place.

  21. Hernandez Hernandez Jose CArlos

In my case the teachers who i had in high school commonly were absent.
On my part i think is a good evaluation wich OCDE did.
Mexicans have a poor system education and is correctly who somebody looks and does something.
I’d like my sons would have a better educations than i had.

  22. Francisco Javier Chan Ramirez 1°B

Statistics interpret the reality that means that many people do not have an effective educational training. Today- Wednesday, September 21st, in the English class, the teacher Arthur Edwards said that for each 100 students that are interested on an academic training, just 5 o 3 achieve their goals. That’s why, nowadays, many people are illiterate or people with an intellectual disability.

  23. ramon francisco martinez velazquez 1D

In my opinion think education in México is question of win in teachers and students, for many times we the students celebrate when the teachers are disinterested for education.

  24. Rodríguez Niebla Manuela 1B

I see in my mint three problems of education in Mexico taking account to youngs between 15 to 29 years for consider illiteracy.
    1. Students who are not committed to study.
    2. Teachers who are not apply in their their teaching.
    3. The government that spends only a quarter of investment in our education.
Students are victims because government gives fewer scholarships.

  25. Miguel rosales ochoa 1A

My opinion is that that most of the teachers not have a dynamic that work to the relationship with students.

I think that the Ninis not some given by bed education also the lack of resources.

Because require a education similar the of. Countries developed when invest less resource.

To development of the country is a needed person with education following this situation will difficult.

  26. Edgar Daniel Gaitan Rodriguez 1°A

If it is a pity that education in Mexico is so bad, but on the other side is always going to see a teacher who arrives late, those are reasons for the teacher. In addition each teacher also has a way of teaching that is why some teachers might lose more time teaching something that other teachers do.

  27. osdy gersaid fletes arreola 1 "A"

My opinion is that if teachers devote more time to knowledge and together with the authorities to the area corresponding to the education sector together could reach an agreement.
Bringing new ideas to overcome this country and make education and increase.
Although not only the fault of teachers but also of the authorities also need to encourage a little culture to education.

  28. Miguel Leòn Bautista 1º "A"

In my opinion I think Mexico has always gone wrong in terms of education.
Although today some adults aimed at ending its edcucacion know that they are not enough people who want to end their illiteracy.
The figures argues are very bad doctor.
I think it will be very difficult to put an end to all this is that is achieved in a short time end illiteracy.

  29. cesar castro carrillo 1*D

i really think is true that the teacher is absent from messiah but i think is the wary to being the Mexican generlly who wants everything easy and fast but without making any effort for it. And he right young people are able too ninis for the reason that you had mentioned the absence of the teacher. young people lack the presence of teachers lose interest in this study and decide to stop studying and do other thin

  30. axel jefte orozco 1 B

sad but true, we all know the only reason why us Mexicans finish our education is to be able to get a job and start making money but the real question is: Do you like what you do??? or did you just get your professional degree to start making money??? i think teacher’s these days dont really like what they do (some, not all), if they did this wouldn’t be a problem teacher’s would always be smiling in class and the quality of our education would be above any other country.

  31. Maribel Perallta Larios 1°D

I my opinion that teachers should to be well prepared that student.
I disagree with parents see parents to take their children to school to educate and to school student go to learn not that educated.
I greet with teacher take course works and others but they should to organize your time.

  32. Maria Dolores Adán Santillán 1.-D

I think the teachers should prepare more.

Create the students to learn and participate with teaching aids.

That not only you give the theory, that put them to develop other abilities hidden in students.

Change the way of teaching that is modern that adapt to the way of student learning.

  33. Alan Rair Guzman Delgado 1ªD

I think this is a discouraging notice, those millions in illiteracy!. I agree with Luis, I also noticed that some teachers waste the time. I believe that responsability of learn is more important than responsability of teach.

If the one who is teaching don’t do it well, the one who wants learn find the way to do it. But if the one who must learn don’t do it, the person that is teaching can’t do much.

  34. Carrillo Mosqueda Gustavo Alberto. 1-B

1.-My opinion is that have lost this time.
2.-They should take action to that kind of teachers.
3.-But the best thing is to overcome not be.
    4.-Those teachers must be aware.

  35. Alejandro Gilberto Heredia Moran 1B

I agree in which the education in the country is not of good quality. We as students we must demand that it is taught to us of suitable way, but must put of our part taking advantage of the learned thing, although he is little. We must administer the time and of joint way we will obtain that the learning process is efficient. We must act at this moment.

  36. Alan Cisneros Godinez 1A

My opinion is. Much irresponsibility of teachers.
Unfortunately, students do party when lack a teacher,
we get happy hehe, but at the same time affects us in the school.

  37. Rubén Ricardo Trujillo García 1 A

I would argue that what is happening in Mexico is a very serious problem because the truth is not being used enough to improve the study of Mexicans.

I would also like to mention that the truth most teachers do not have the ability to be a teacher to guide students on track.

Hopefully it could solve this problem and would be something great to study in Mexico.

  38. María Lizbeth Ochoa Sarmienta 1B

To achieve the progress that the country requires are necessary foundation of a good education. the deficiencies among students of all levels go will to economic stagnation and social. the responsibility for this situation also lies with parents, teachers and students.

  39. Roberto Quintero Cervantes 1`D

I think that the education here in Mexico isn’t realy good. They need better teachers so that the students can learn more and in a more helpfull way.If we can change,we can make the education be more successful and better for the students.

  40. Jose Nicanor Ruiz Lopez 1.D

It is a shame that education in Mexico is that bad.
I think this is caused by lack of employment.
by that not have enough money to give in their study children.

  41. luis humberto urzua araiza 1b

Ne i gree that some teachers if they are very weak. And some see some friends we met with theam. It is very important not to generalize by saying the “Masters” because it ancludes all low self – esteam and to those who do good.

  42. Julio Daniel Rodriguez Puga 1A

Good day, in my opinion we live in a Mexico no strong desire to grow, only do we complain about the government . fortunately there are people like you that the true do some to try change the things of our country. I would i want we now have the opportunity to study really we took advantage. I also hope that teachers are a little more professional and accountable in their work.

  43. Irving De La Mora 1B

Education is a word that begins to lose meaning in our nation. Symptom of bad gesture and administration. For example, blocking people from the CENDI, a measure unnecessary, but only so, the education authorities serve as they should.

  44. adrian alejandro vizcaino martinez 1B

Pain is one that the teachers classes need much or that waste time in classes. But also there are many students who do not take the opportunity that they have to study. There are many do not have the opportunity to study so those that we can study it is necessary to take advantage of it.

  45. Diego Alberto Rodriguez Jaramillo 1D

The stats tell the true. The most of the teachers are not prepared and waste their time in other things.
But even in that cases, good students can arise.

  46. Manuel ALejandro Rodriguez Valdovinos 1°D

With these figures who would not say that’s good news.
But how can we change this?
Illiteracy is a fact that affects us all in some way.
We must take action to change this.

  47. Javier Alexis Cernas Avalos 1°D

I think that the teachers would be better prepare. If Mexico has not a good teacher, never it’ll have a good students. Is importan that the teenagers go to school, because is the only way for be better prepare.

  48. Rommel Salvador Juárez Rodríguez 1 B

Mexico is third place in “nini” teens, it’s sad that this is happening, day after day I hear news that talk about how Mexico is “progressing”, giving opportunities to many people to study, to reach their goals, but with the pass of the time I realize that they’re otherwise. That’s why we, which have the opportunity to study, we have to take that chance.

  49. Alicia Soto 1°A

without Adud, in Mexico our system educational is going against different contexts, not only political, but social.
Where progress represent a definite task of politics public national in the last years.
However are marked levels coverage in education primary and secondary and without fail level higher average and higher. Where there is a proportion significant of sectors poor and vulnerable do not have access the education or that many of entrants can not conclude.

In my opinion it is way too ridiculous that Mexico is raising a high number of “ninis”,and in the way is going the circunstances in this country,i really don’t think that it get better in a long time.

  52. Ernesto Alcaraz Andrade 1*D

I think that a lot of teacher dont take his job seriously and with the energy than it needs, I think is missing the right actitud and enough passion to love that they do “give knowledge”.

  53. 1A Ricardo Ploneda Espindola

The education in our country is in terrible decline as teachers are driven by many features and therefore students do not have adequate education.
