Gratos amaneceres

La triste constatación, para decirlo con claridad, no favorece mi descanso: duermo con el horario mexicano, tres horas menos, y despierto con el horario argentino. Las horas de sueño se acortaron y en algunos momentos del día el bostezo me lo cobra.

Por fortuna, tuve un inicio de jornada grato. Un pequeño libro se atravesó en mi camino cuando pasaba a preparar un té para bien-estar. Lo compré recién en mi primera visita a “El Ateneo”, en avenida Carlos Paz, una centenaria librería.

El libro es una singular entrevista realizada por Nicolas Truong durante la última campaña presidencial francesa, con François Hollande y Edgar Morin. Se llama “Diálogo sobre la política, la izquierda y la crisis”, publicado por Paidós Argentina a finales del año pasado. Lo leí de un tirón, apenas interrumpido por alguna idea obsesiva. Creo que está de más contarles que es un diálogo denso en ideas, aunque de lectura y escritura ágiles.

Me sorprendí al final cuando constaté que las ideas de Hollande, el político inteligente, me resultaron más inquietantes, quizá por la relativa familiaridad con el pensador. En mis apuntes hay más notas de lo dicho por el actual presidente, quien fue, además, mayormente prolijo.

La conclusión, más allá de las ideas de ambos, me dejó agradable sensación: es posible el intelectual comprometido y desafiado por los problemas del mundo real y no aislado en su torre, tan posible como el político agudo, culto y desafiante en el terreno de las ideas. No es poca cosa, y alienta, aunque la geografía marque distancias lejanas de nuestro contexto.
